• ANG PANDAY - Panday is a blacksmith whose real name is Flavio. When a meteor fell from the sky one night, he forged the metal from the meteor into a dagger, the balaraw. When he raises the dagger to the sky, it magically grows into a sword. He uses this magical sword to fight the evil Lizardo (Max Alvarado) and other supernatural beings. Eventually, Lizardo and his minions are destroyed. 

• "Ang Pulubi At Ang Prinsesa" follows the unexpected and deep friendship that develops between these two young girls, a friendship that is sparked by the one thing they had in common - a need to belong. • BABAE SA BREAKWATER - Basilio and Buboy, two boys from a coastal town, sail off for Manila in search for a better life. Instead they find themselves squabbling for inhospitable space by the breakwater of Manila Bay. Yet amid the rubbles of destitution, Basilio finds redemption in Paquita, a prostitute whose life is fueled mainly by drugs and alcohol. Basilio's affecttion sets Paquita on the road to recovery. Now, sank deeper in poverty, the sea becomes his savious when he uncovers a pouch of jewelry that's been washed up by the breakwater. However, when he sells a piece to help out a fellow dweller in need, news spread out to Dave, a policeman and former client of Paquita, who then accuses Basilio of stealing. One incident leads to another that winds up the tragic yet tender climax. the film dazzles with sterling performances from tyros Katherine Luna and Kristoffer King. Others hail it as a resurgent pience of work from the Philippines not seen since the days of Lino Brocka.
