unOfficially Yours is a 2012 Pinoy romantic comedy movie.directed by Cathy Garcia-Molina and starring John Lloyd Cruz and Angel Locsin. It is produced and released by Star Cinema. The movie premiere released in the Philippines on February 15, 2012. It is currently the highest grossing movie of 2012.
The Director thought about the story back in 2009. In 2011, Star Cinema offered the main casts to John Lloyd and Angel after their primetime TV Series that aired on ABS-CBN, Imortal.
The ultimate feel-good movie. Finally, a Star Cinema romcom production hits all the right notes. Garcia-Molina’s confident direction engages the viewer from the first minute to the last. John Lloyd Cruz has always been a reliable romantic lead and here he lays out all the cute and the everyman charm he has perfected over the years, but it’s Angel Locsin who’s the emotional core of the film and she plays the romantically traumatized woman with nary a false note — certainly one of the cleanest performances by a Pinoy actor in recent memory. Climax is a little mushy but not forced, you still believe that it can happen in real life. Pinoys are hopeless romantics anyway.
