“This film is very entertaining indeed most especially for people who love APO Hiking Society music, and that should be a big chunk of the Filipino adult population out there who grew up in the 1970s to the 1990s.”-Fred Hawson “Beyond the music and the actors, I Do Bidoo Bidoo draws strength from its script as it probes the different angles of a teenage pregnancy–how a young couple tries to deal with uncertainty and responsibility, and how parents recover when their darlings color outside the lines of their pre-drawn aspirations.”-Job de Leon “It takes a while to warm up to the film. It opens with two musical numbers that could have been easily cut by half. It gradually gets more engaging when it gets to the meat of the story, which is the inevitable clash of the two families. Even if it closely resembles Kasal, Kasali, Kasalo, the music, the colors (Digo Ricio’s production design is commendable), and the spirited performances of the cast (a movie star is born in Sam Concepcion) make you forget about any comparisons. Just as it becomes delightfuly entertaining, though, the movie becomes lazy by the last third, conveniently and inexplicably resolving issues just because it is approaching the two-hour mark.”-Skilty Labastilla
